Our client is a fast-growing and very highly regarded international law firm. They are renowned for their market-leading professional disputes practice which defends some of the world's highest profile and most complex professional negligence claims.
Their construction industry defence team is market-leading and specialises in all aspects of contentious construction and construction-related professional indemnity and liability insurance. They work with some of the largest engineers and contractors in the world and their brokers and insurers to defend some of the market's largest and most high profile claims against architects, engineers, surveyors and contractors.
Due to ongoing client demand for their top ranked services, they are now looking to add to their high-quality team. The ideal candidate will be a mid-senior level insurance disputes lawyer with experience defending claims against construction industry professionals. More junior Associates with professional negligence experience who are interested in specializing in the construction industry would also be of interest.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have:
- Strong academics and a genuine interest and aptitude for complex commercial insurance disputes work;
- Training from a rated international or City firm in complex insurance disputes
- Ideally 3-8 years' post-qualification experience in defending professional negligence claims against construction industry professionals but candidates with related high quality disputes experience may also be of interest.
