Legal Counsel

Errington Legal are recruiting for a Legal Counsel with 1-6 years PQE to join our clients' corporate legal team in Cambridge. 

The successful candidate will take on responsibility for our client's export compliance matters - he/she will advise on compliance and regulatory best practice and ensure compliance of the organisation’s business processes with export trade regulations, data privacy and anti-bribery laws and regulations. He/she will also take on a range of other duties including drafting documentation, reviewing and negotiating a variety of supplier commercial agreements, and providing support to M&A activities. 

The post-holder should have strong experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures. Candidates with experience in export trade compliance or international logistics would be at an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate if needed. 

The ideal candidates will be proactive, confident, creative thinkers with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
