Mid-Level Real Estate Lawyer (4+ yrs. PQE) for Growing Prop-Tech Company, based in South Manchester.

Our client is an established real estate company that is strengthening its foothold across the UK and Europe in the multi-let industrial arena – a rapidly growing sector of the market. They are now developing the business in order to provide a full property and asset management service to their growing portfolio of clients. In line with this growth, they are looking to hire a real estate/property lawyer who will directly report to the General Counsel.

This role will be broad in scope and dynamic in nature. The successful candidate will:

• Assist with large scale corporate and real estate transactions;
• Draft and negotiate of a variety of commercial contracts (e.g. IT and IP contracts and outsourcing contracts);
• Assist with corporate governance, draft internal and external announcements and liaise with regulatory bodies;
• Manage the business’ relationship with external counsel on real estate and wider matters.

You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and not be afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in a diverse array of legal work that can affect the business and demonstrate the requisite attributes/experience to do so.

You may:

• Currently sit in a real estate legal team in private practice and preferably have in-house experience from a secondment;
• Already be a member of an in-house legal team, where real estate matters form a focus or element of your role.

You must be also be an excellent communicator and be able to foster strong relationships with the business and senior management team that you will be working with. In return, our client will offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
