The Role

The firm are looking for a Banking & Finance Partner to join their team of 13 in their buzzing Leeds office.

The team has been recognised in the Legal 500 for the high-quality service they provide.

You will deal with a varied client base of corporate and individual lenders, banks, secondary lenders as well as borrowers coming from a broad range of sectors from education, renewables and retail to healthcare, leisure and residential development.

Day to day you will deal with a caseload including acquisition finance, asset-based lending, corporate and property transactions, loan recovery and enforcement, development funding, project funding structuring, debt restructuring and real estate finance.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the banking & finance department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

  • You will be a Banking & Finance Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
  • You will have strong business development capabilities
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial, and keen to get stuck in with a market leading team
  • A team player, that is able to lead and delegate

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
