Job Details
This very highly regarded international boutique firm is looking for someone for the role of interim Head of Risk as maternity cover for twelve months.
The firm is looking for someone to cover a full range of issues, including strategy and governance and legal and compliane matters, as well as risk management. The role entails leading on the design, development and delivery of its risk management strategy across all its offices to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
In addition to dealing with compliance and regulatory matters you will also handle some of the firm's legal affairs, such as contracts, engagement and procurement terms, dealing with litigation for and against the firm, employment, lease renewals and so on. You will also have the opportunity to advise on the risk and compliance implications of wider business projections such as new office openings, outsourcing arrangements and other external changes.
The firm is looking for a qualified lawyer with experience of working in a similiar role with another international firm, so it is essential that you have worked in a compliance role within the legal sector and have a sound understanding of SRA requirements as well as those of other international regulators.
