Our client is one of the UK's leading media, technology and IP law firms, with a Tier 1-ranked entertainment practice. It represents many of the world's major media companies, including the most enviable roster of clients across the film and TV industries ranging from the major US studios, broadcasters and streaming platforms to the most prolific and successful UK indie TV companies, as well as many leading film and TV financiers.

Despite the huge difficulties which the film and TV industry has faced over the last few months, our client is busier than ever trying to meet the insatiable demand for content and is therefore looking to expand its Film and TV team. Our client currently has three fantastic opportunities for experienced mid-level solicitors to join the production practice of the Film and TV team.

You will enjoy working with the highest profile UK, US and international clients in the sector (for example working on such franchises as "Game of Thrones" and "Mission Impossible") and will have access to a broad range of work, which will include advising all the leading US studios, broadcasters, streamers and production companies on all matters relating to the development, production and exploitation of films and television programmes. The team pride themselves on being trusted strategic advisors to their clients, not just external lawyers and have been at the forefront of developments in this rapidly changing sector. There will be opportunities to develop specialist expertise, industry knowledge and client relationships, and all lawyers are encouraged to contribute to business development and support the continued growth of the practice.

We are very interested in hearing from candidates who are either in-house or in another law firm and with experience of working for broadcasters, studios, streaming platforms, production companies or media services providers.

You will have at least 2 years' PQE and potentially significantly more, as there are three roles available. You must have strong analytical, reasoning and drafting skills and the confidence and the ability to juggle competing priorities and a variety of matters and clients at the same time. This is a busy team but that is just reflective of their preeminent position in the market, the quality of the work and the profile of their clients.
