This is a long-term maternity cover which we'd anticipate lasting at least 12 months, however the legal team is extremely visible and integral to the business and permanency cannot be discounted for a candidate who flourishes in this highly commercial position.

We'd anticipate this suiting a qualified lawyer with some exposure to negotiating, drafting and reviewing customer, supplier and/or outsourcing agreements would be useful as you'll be expected to offer advice across the whole range of goods and services of the group both B2B, B2C on the customer side and IT, Property and General Services on the supply side

You'll also have the opportunity to offer support to the groups regulated business with legal and compliance matters including advice on legal issues relating to regulated products, agreements, new marketing and other promotional materials and Treating Customers Fairly etc. As you can see, there's a hugely varied caseload.

This role will support the current lawyers and as such might appeal to someone on a full time basis who has up to a couple of years PQE - equally in keeping with their pragmatism, they feel it might suit someone more self-sufficient, who is requiring part time hours.
