Conventional Corporate Partner to this Global Offshore firm: recent events have changed the brief somewhat and the timing, with this firm's corporate department becoming busier by the day. The difference from before however is, to become 'that contender', you must be sworn in at the Cayman Bar. Currently a partner or senior level lawyer with a strong corporate/M&A/PE pedigree you may NOT be local to the Cayman, but you must of course be able to 'hit the ground' running. Ideally, you will have the local market experience and the knowledge to 'fit in' with increasing work loads and the clients and add to its upward trajectory in the market. Management is on the cards at this firm and thus, you will want the chance take part in management to help staff perform and to help hit the levels they need to achieve.
