Job Details
Our client is a leading full service firm headquartered in George Town on Grand Cayman. They act for well-known clients across multiple sectors around the world and have been involved in some of the most complex commercial disputes and insolvencies to go through the Cayman courts over the last 10 years.
The commercial disputes team has a strong pipeline of work for 2021 and so is looking for a new associate to join them in the Cayman Islands. The ideal candidate will have been called to the Bar between 2015 and 2017 and currently be a member of a set with a good reputation for commercial, civil, or chancery matters.
As well as joining one of Cayman's most established disputes teams, the successful candidate will enjoy the myriad benefits of living in the Caribbean. These include the chance to live by one of the world's most beautiful beaches, a significantly shorter commute, numerous outdoor activities, and no income or withholding taxes.
As one of the world's oldest offshore centres, Grand Cayman really is set up for expats to enjoy living and working there. You will have the chance to live by some of the world's most beautiful beaches, no income tax, and close links to Miami (90 minutes) and New York (4 hours).
