The construction team in Birmingham form part of a national construction practice working alongside their colleagues across the firm's five UK offices.

The successful construction litigation solicitor joining this market leading team in Birmingham will undertake a broad range of litigated matters for clients across a range of sectors including education, technology, financial services, retail, healthcare, central and local government, insurance, civil engineering, and energy. 

This will include:

- Dispute avoidance and risk management.
- Proceedings in the TCC.
- Professional negligence.
- ADR.
- Contractual interpretation.
- Adjudication and mediation.

This position is ideally suited to experienced construction litigation solicitors with a minimum of five years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

- A strong academic background.
- Experience gained with a leading national or regional practice.
- Excellent technical knowledge of contentious construction matters.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in supervising more junior lawyers.
- Strong networking and business development experience.
