Senior Trust Manager

Errington Legal are currently seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join a top law firm based in their Norwich office.

The successful candidate will be expected to assist with the management of trusts across the firms Private Client teams. In addition, you will supervise a team of trust administrators and will work closely with others across the firm. The role will focus on overseeing the transfer of business from the firms' other offices to the Norwich office, which will play the central role as part of a consolidation project, which you will be expected to manage.

You will be expected to advise a range of clients on the following:

-Tax planning advice regarding all aspects of trusts
-Inheritance tax calculations
-Management and administration of complex trusts to include maintenance and preparation of all related accounting records and HMRC returns
-FATCA/CRS/Trust Register reporting

Good academics and either STEP, CIOT or ATT qualification will be essential for this role.

This is a senior position, and the ideal candidate will need to have solid experience within a comparable role in a law or accountancy firm, and will have strong technical skills and the ability to supervise and lead others. You will need to be confident in offering complex advice and will understand the importance building strong client relationships.

Occasional travel to other offices may also be required.
