Pro-Legal are working closely with a leading US firm, looking for a c.3-4 year PQE Private Equity Associate, who wants to move into a less transactions focused role - and more into a client-facing role.
Due to the needs of the team, our client have created this new role, which will have much more of a fixed-hour arrangement and encouragement of flexible working.
They are looking for someone who has ideally worked in a Private Equity team with a competitor firm, to manage the team's portfolio company relationships and provide excellent service to their clients.
This role will work closely with the core deal team to manage the portfolios, however will not be a transactions focused role. Instead, this joiner will provide advice on a variety of legal queries which arise in relation with portfolio companies, assisting with C-suit joiners and leavers, regular client communication and taking the lead role in dealing with client requests on a day-to-day basis.
This will be a key role in helping to build client relationships and working in a top tier Private Equity team, without the hours culture which comes alongside with transactional work.
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Experience gained in a leading Private Equity team in London
- C.3-4 years of post-qualification experience
- An excellent academic record
- Experience with a high level of client contact
