Insurance Litigation Lawyer - 12 month FTC - 5+ PQE

We are working with a leading global law firm in their search for an Insurance Litigation Lawyer with experience in defending financial service professionals. The role is to start ASAP and will run for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful individual will be joining a reputable team who are instructed by financial lines insurers to defend claims brought against a range of professionals within the financial services sector - this includes, but is not limited to: asset managers, hedge funds, stockbrokers, IFAs and Directors & Officers.

In joining the team, you will be working alongside notable Partners within this field and will gain fantastic exposure to a varied and challenging caseload.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia and/or New Zealand, for example)
• Upwards of 5 years' PQE in handling insurance litigation matters from leading city firms
• Experience in defending financial service professionals (essential)
• Arbitration experience
• Financial Institutions, D&O, Political risks and crime coverage experience (preferable but not essential)
• The capacity to provide clear and concise advice to clients
• The ability to work with minimal Partner supervision
• A client-centric manner
