Family Partner (Head of Team) - £85,000+, South-West

New! - A leading Chambers-rated Legal 100 firm are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Family Partner to lead their regional office based in the South-West. The successful individual will head up the team with a view to grow and develop finance and matrimonial work across the area. You will also have supervisory responsibility for fee earning and support staff. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a heavyweight national firm and lead/develop their top-tier family practice.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out matrimonial and finance work within the regional area in line with the department business plan;
• Working with the Head of department and BU Manager to produce and implement a BD plan for the team aligned to the department business plan;
• Identifying & developing new business opportunities and maximising opportunities across the firm
• Coaching, mentoring and developing the Finances team encouraging their ongoing professional development
• Ensuring the  team delivers exceptional client service
• Ensuring that all working processes and practices comply with relevant quality and service standard

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified solicitor with experience within a senior fee-earning position
• Clear business plan for growth proposition in the Divorce & finance work in the South-West area
• Substantial previous experience within Family law with a specialism in dealing with matrimonial & finance work
• Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service
• Proven ability to win new business through networking and marketing activities
• Ability to manage a small team
