The Role:

This leading law firm is looking for Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their Cardiff, South Wales office.

The firm has an opportunity for someone who is senior in commercial litigation (Senior Associate, Legal Director, or existing Partner) to come on board and take a lead role in the department.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to take an existing successful department on. As such, it's an exceptional chance for someone to gain an opportunity for progression into a senior position.
The Firm's Commercial Litigation team handles matters such as:

- Employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
- Contract disputes
- Debt recovery
- Commercial Property
- Professional Negligence
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Boundary Disputes
- Insolvency
- Construction Industry Disputes

Unlike many senior level hires, this position doesn't require you to have a following. Of course, any relationships you can bring or tap into are a benefit but not a prerequisite for this position as the firm has an existing department for you to lead.

The team are professional, and successful. They take the view of output being more important than input, and they don't care for presenteeism.

For someone perhaps in a position where Partnership is seeming too far away, or for someone who has hit the glass ceiling of progression this is a truly exceptional opportunity.

  • You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor 7+ PQE -
  • You will be either an ambitious Senior Associate, Legal Director or already a Partner in your current post.
  • Salary is negotiable/dependent on experience
