Commercial Litigation Solicitor

A commercial litigation solicitor is offered an excellent opportunity to join a leading national practice, ranked as one of the top 50 in the UK.

This position will be based in Birmingham with the firm's Legal 500 ranked commercial litigation team.

The commercial litigation team in Birmingham forms part of a national practice across the firm's eight UK offices.

The successful solicitor joining this team will work alongside a team under the direction and supervision of partners considered to be among the best in the field, acting for clients throughout the UK across various sectors including construction and engineering, financial services, commercial property and development, insurance and reinsurance, major corporates, public sector and central government.

The successful commercial litigation solicitor joining this team will enjoy a broad caseload of litigation matters which will include but not be limited to:

- Insurance litigation matters.
- Debt recovery.
- Professional negligence.
- ADR.
- Mediation.

This position is ideally suited to experienced commercial litigation solicitors with a minimum of five years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

- A strong academic background.
- Training and post-qualified experience gained with a reputable national or regional practice.
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in networking and business development.
- Experience in the supervision of more junior colleagues.
