Restructuring & Insolvency – Central London – Global Law Firm

Our Client, a global law firm with multiple offices covering several jurisdictions is looking to add to its numbers with the appointment of a mid to senior associate for their Banking Team, specifically in the Restructuring & Insolvency department.

The team advise a broad range of stakeholders on restructuring and special situations transactions.  Advice includes, but is not limited to; rescues and reconstructions outside formal insolvency proceedings; planning and implementing of ‘loan-to-own’ strategies, including credit and security reviews and due diligence on the underlying debtor and assets; the sale and purchase of distressed companies and assets; directors’ duties and liabilities across the full range of distressed and insolvency situations; and rescue financing, insolvency litigation, including all forms of insolvency related applications and enforcement procedures.

As the successful candidate for this position, you will have good range of both restructuring and formal corporate insolvency experience, ideally gained from working within an international or leading regional firm.

You must be at least 4 years PQE, with experienced gained in another international firm or well-regarded regional team.  You should be commercially minded with a strong client focus with an ability and willingness to get actively involved in marketing and business development.  You should also be able to work autonomously or as part of a successful team.
