Job Details
Our client is a highly regarded information services company which has been established for many years. Originally founded some time ago it has adapted and evolved to become a leading technology business with a global reach. It has recently received further investment to continue its development is now moving in to an exciting period of expansion.
The company's head of legal is mandated to grow the legal function of the business and is looking to bring in an able and ambitious commercial lawyer of 4-8 years' pqe. Reporting to the head of legal, you will assist with drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including licenses, partnership, collaboration, reseller and sub-contractor agreements. You will also be involved in handling data and GDPR matters, as well as IP and regulatory issues.
You will have inhouse experience, ideally gained in another technology/software company and have some software licencining experience. Our client is looking for someone who can handle a range of projects and matters commercially and effectively, has good people skills, the ability to meet deadlines and get things done in a fast-paced environment.
Initially our client is offering a six month contract, with the real prospect of a permanent appointment if all goes well, and this is a very good opportunity to join a growing company at exciting time.
