Property Litigation Solicitor to join highly reputed full service firm

This full service firm has a thriving Dispute Resolution Department.  An increase in the flow of instructions has created an opportunity for an ambitious assistant solicitor to join its property litigation department.

The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload including:

•          Enforcing/defending claims for breach of leasehold covenants during the term including rent recovery

•          Advising on contentious break options

•          Dilapidations – interim and terminal claims

•          Contentious and non-contentious lease renewals

•          Possession proceedings

•          Freehold disputes

You will be academically strong and currently be practising at a well-regarded commercial real estate disputes practice.  You will have a solid knowledge of general property law, notably landlord/tenant law as well as the Civil Procedure Rules.

You will be able to demonstrate sharp commercial acumen in understanding a client’s business and delivering commercially focussed advice

The role is very much client facing and you will be encouraged to take a very active role in business development initiatives including delivering seminars and general networking.

You will receive excellent support and ongoing training from the partners and senior associates in the department but will also be given the autonomy to manage your own caseload where appropriate.
