Job Details
We are currently seeking a legal counsel specialising in IT and privacy law on behalf of out client, a top FTSE business in Hampshire. The role requires you to be able to deliver clear and concise guidance relating to use of new technology and IT services as part of their growing legal team.
You will also be supporting lines of business and functions in implementing and managing all aspects of the company’s data protection compliance strategy, and ensuring the company responds appropriately to new and existing IT, information and cyber security related regulatory and contractual obligations. You will also be ensuring an effective and compliant response to its IT, information and cyber security related regulatory and contractual obligations, and any changes to those obligations or the wider threat environment
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience with an excellent technical understanding of commercial contracts as well as experience of IT contracting and outsourcing. If you are pragmatic with a commercial mind-set, we’d like to hear from you.
