In-house Data Privacy Lawyer – Healthcare – Buenos Aires

We are seeking a data privacy lawyer to join our client, an international health and pharmaceutical business. This individual will be a talented, commercially minded, proactive attorney to join a global team.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent judgment and significant experience advising on privacy law and compliance matters and managing aspects of corporate data privacy programs.

Key accountabilities will include:

•            Providing practical legal advice on matters related to data privacy and security

•            Monitoring changes in privacy laws and regulations globally to ensure business adaptation and compliance

•            Supporting country-level privacy compliance activities, including required notifications and filings

•            Draft privacy notices, data processing agreements, and other documentation to support the business’s processing of personal data

The successful candidate will have at least four year of experience, both in-house and within private practice. You will have expertise in data privacy laws for assigned region, including as applicable, the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, PIPEDA, CASL, and LGPD. You will also have independent judgment, attention to detail, a desire to learn, and an ability to take on and prioritize a wide variety of complex matters while meeting tight deadlines.
