Job Details
We are seeking a group legal counsel to handle a range of complex and high value general commercial and technology contracts on behalf of our client, a diverse and international conglomerate. Reporting directly to the General Counsel you will support the business as they expand their services particularly focusing on maximising cross-border digital success and data monetisation. You will have experience working on a wide range of corporate commercial matters, preferably gained in a technology rich environment, including the licensing of digital (IT and data) platforms and the sale of B2B products. You will negotiate and draft high value and complex contracts broadly covering hosting, data, marketing and outsourcing and advise on data privacy, GDPR and IP.
By way of background, you will have at least 5 years’ PQE, preferably at a Magic/Silver Circle law firm ideally with in-house experience. The role requires someone who can help drive legal strategy, but also roll up their sleeves with entrepreneurial flair and a can do attitude.
