New role - Director level - Head of Governance - Corporate Secretariat

My client, a top tier investment bank, is looking to appoint a Director in their Corporate Secretariat to head up the Governance team.The Corporate Secretariat provides support and company secretarial services to the holding company, its Board, Board committees and subsidiary companies. The team also has responsibility for setting and delivering the strategy for our relationship with private shareholders.

This role would suit a lawyer with existing company secretarial experience or possibly a corporate lawyer who would be interested in moving into this area. You will have trained with a top firm and have strong technical ability which is essential giving the heavy focus on disclosure and compliance with regulatory obligations.

The role will involve managing four direct reports, so any previous managerial experience would be an asset.

The successful candidates will have strong stakeholder management skills as well as being robust and someone who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
