Employment Lawyer

A senior employment lawyer is offered an excellent opportunity to join a national practice in Nottingham.

This is an opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to take a step up to a leading position, taking responsibility for the employment practice nationally across the firm's 11 UK offices.

The successful employment lawyer joining this employment team in Nottingham will be instrumental in the growth and development of this team acting for clients nationally on a full range of employment law matters which will include:

- Employment contracts
- Restrictive covenants
- Employment tribunals
- Gross misconduct
- Policies and procedures
- TUPE
- Settlement agreements
- Discrimination
- Restructures and redundancies
- Constructive dismissal, unfair dismissal, and wrongful dismissal
- Disciplinaries
- Grievances

This position is ideally suited to senior and experienced employment lawyers with a minimum of eight years' PQE. A following is not a requirement for this position. You may be an existing employment partner seeking a change or an otherwise senior and experienced employment lawyer seeking a step up.

Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

- Qualified experience in employment law gained with a reputable national or regional practice
- Experience in the training, supervision and management of more junior colleagues
- Excellent technical knowledge and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in business development and client relationship management
