Commercial Disputes/Arbitration - Contract - London - 6+ PQE

A global top 20 law firm are looking to bring on board a mid-senior commercial disputes and arbitration lawyer on an ongoing temporary basis. The successful candidate will be working with market leading partners on a range of commercial disputes and arbitrations and should be available immediately or at short notice.

The partners within the team are recognised as leading practitioners in handling disputes and arbitrations within the energy, international infrastructure, oil & gas, financial services and food industries.

Successful candidates are likely to have a broad commercial litigation and arbitration background and possess upwards of 6 years' PQE from other leading or international law firms. Experience in handling disputes and arbitrations pertaining to the aforementioned sectors is highly desirable.

Candidates should also have experience in the following:

• Advising clients on questions of English law without barrister or counsel input
• High Court litigation - to include urgent applications and actions
• Handling a full litigation and arbitration caseload (under English governing law) with minimal/no partner supervision
• Experience of working within a senior legal role within private practice
• Proofing of witnesses and drafting witness statements
• Managing and/or supervising junior lawyers

Qualification as a Solicitor within England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction with relevant UK experience, is preferable.
