OVERVIEW
A leading sector-focused global law firm with a dominant reputation in the market are looking to supplement their formidable Professional and Financial Disputes department. The firm are seeking an Associate with between 0-5 years' PQE to join them in Manchester.
THE ROLE
The role sits within the firms specialist professional negligence team and will see you working alongside highly-experienced lawyers who are renown for advising a broad variety of both insurers and professional "insured" businesses (including solicitors and construction professionals) in relation to all aspects of professional liability claims from policy response, to litigation and any associated disciplinary matters.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly respected Band 1 team and to gain exposure to some of the most challenging and interesting claims in this practice area.
REQUIREMENTS
- Between 0-5 years' PQE
- Able to demonstrate experience working within a defendant professional negligence practice;
- A strong communicator with a meticulous eye;
- Able to demonstrate an ability to develop high levels of technical skill and strong client relationships;
- A commitment to business development and client relationship management;
- Dual qualified would be a bonus but not essential.
