Two Employment Associates, 4-5 PQE + Newly Qualified, Birmingham
Salary up to £70k (4-5 PQE) & £48k (NQ)

We are pleased to say that our client, a pre-eminent and established business with a global footprint, are keen to hire two employment associates, one up to 5 PQE and another NQ. The roles will be based in their Birmingham office.
If you are closer to the 4-5 PQE sweet spot, they want you to come in and really stamp your authority from day one. You must have experience of dealing with clients; a confident and calm presence is essential. In tandem with this, some experience in direct supervision of junior colleagues is a must. For the NQ, the key thing is malleability and a healthy determination to learn. There is much to gain for you here. You will be in the company of some of the leading partners and future rainmaker associates. What does that mean? It means guaranteed intimate mentoring - the whole team will look out for you. From a work standpoint, you will be expected to cover:
- Both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Complex, high value litigation
- Corporate support
- TUPE & Employment tribunals
They are looking for lawyers with:
- Exceptional Academics; 2:1 from a leading university
- Have completed a training contract at a City or a large regional firm
- If you’re not an NQ, have transferrable skills
- Technically strong and attention to detail is a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
