Construction Solicitor / Legal Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Nottingham office of a Top 55 UK law firm for a 5 years + Construction Solicitor / Legal Director to focus on non-contentious construction projects. This is a top quality Construction Solicitor opportunity and is a permanent role. Full time or Part Time considered

The Responsibilities

As a Construction Solicitor / Legal Director at this firm, your responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining and developing client relationships.
* Drafting documents, letters and contracts (including standard form contracts JCT/NEC, bespoke forms of contract, appointments and collateral warranties).
* Providing clients with advice on all aspects of procurement.
* Leading on construction projects from inception to completion.
* Assisting partners on complex projects.
* Supervising and supporting more junior fee earners and delegating work as appropriate.
* Working with clients across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, retail and education.

Candidate Profile

To succeed in your application for this Construction Solicitor / Legal Director position, you will have:

* 5+ years' PQE in non-contentious construction (and ideally procurement).
* Quality experience be it from a boutique construction firm, a regional, national or international law firm, in-house of local government.
* A keen desire to build your practice and ambitions to progress your career quickly.
* A proactive approach to networking and business development.
