THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Senior Associate with at least three years' PQE to become an integral part of the award-winning life sciences practice in either the London, Oxford, Cambridge or Reading office. As a Senior Associate you will assist the award-winning life sciences team in providing comprehensive, business-oriented advice to its medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Currently the life sciences team act for a range of clients from small and medium sized clients, larger plcs, multi-national enterprises, research organisations and a number of venture capital funds, on both a local level, such as OBN, and internationally, as a Senior Associate, will be sure to be involved in a breadth of exciting work, with work including but not limited to:

  • Providing comprehensive, business-oriented advice, and bringing extensive legal, scientific and industry specific insights to its medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
  • Acting for SMEs, larger plcs. and multi-national enterprises.
  • Taking on an active role in providing the full range of legal, commercial and regulatory advice that support the life sciences industry, both on a local level, such as OBN, and internationally, with strong links to life sciences specialists outside the UK.
  • Excellent academics and experience in a well-regarded life sciences team are a must for this position.

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

  • You will need to have at least 3 + years PQE
  • Excellent academics and experience in a well-regarded life sciences team are a must
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with clients and colleagues
  • The ability to influence and articulate advice clearly and succinctly to colleagues across the department.
