Part – Time ( 3 days a week, flexible) , Legal Counsel – Investment Manager
OUR CLIENT:
An investment manager client of ours is looking to hire a sole legal counsel on a part-time,12 month-contract basis to support the business. There is a possibility of the role converting to a permanent position at the end of the contract.
THE ROLE:
Working closely with the business through the Partner level, you will be working with a range of stakeholders on different legal matters. Your role will include:
- Negotiating and/or advising on new product launches (not limited to segregated accounts, collective investment schemes such as a SICAV’s, AIFs, Sarl’s;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating of a range of documentation – distribution documentation, investment management agreements, advisory agreements etc.;
- Advising on marketing of the funds across multiple jurisdictions;
- Liaising external counsel when required.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Qualified lawyer with 5+years' PQE* gained either with in-house or in private practice
- Experience advising or working in the funds/ asset management sector will be advantageous for the role
*Candidates outside of the PQE bracket with the right experience will also be considered for the position
