The Company

Excellent opportunity for a lawyer to join the EMEA legal team of this international FMCG company and work with a brand synonymous with good food, family and fun.

What the Role Entails 

You will provide key legal support and guidance to the EMEA business, managing commercial deals and franchise agreements as well as supply chain and distribution matters, competition, marketing and IP. As part of an international business, you will ensure consistency across countries, particularly in relation to supply chain and brand matters, with the support of local lawyers where required. You will be proactive in ensuring the business is compliant with any changes in relevant legislation and you will be instrumental in guiding and advising the business in a wide range of matters, both day-to-day and strategic. 

Business Relationships

Establishing relationships across the business will be key. You will be working with advising the business directly and as a result, you will need to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders including senior management, marketing and commercial teams EMEA-wide.

What We are Looking For

A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for working with people and building relationships is essential. The role requires a strong general commercial contracts lawyer who would like to step into a varied role, working closely with the business. A background in corporate or other areas will be considered (e.g. litigation or finance) with a demonstrated interest in working in a broad in-house role. A keen interest in the FMCG, consumer or retail sectors is key. Excellent commercial acumen is also essential.
