FINANCIAL SERVICES REGULATORY (CAYMAN) (3 - 5 PQE) (£190,000 - £270,000) (UK GROSS COMPARATOR)

The FS regulatory team of this major offshore firm is now one of the largest in the market and the firm's Cayman office is currently looking to hire an additional FS regulatory lawyer with 3 - 5 years' PQE. You must be admitted in the UK, Australia or New Zealand and have gained substantial FS regulatory experience in a major international law firm with a national financial regulator. 

Work undertaken includes advising on the development and assessment of AML / CTF and risk management systems, KYC due diligence and customer due diligence best practices, management of fraud and forensic inquiries and investigations, conduct of money laundering and fraud proceedings, advising on all aspects of the FATCA and CRS due diligence and reporting regimes, advising in relation to obligations under the (BEPS) Country by Country Reporting and Economic Substance regimes, advising and assisting with ad hoc requests for information production by the competent authorities pursuant to bilateral agreements under the relevant laws, as well as regulatory advice and enforcement with regard to a wide range of other matters.
