Job Details
Our client is one of the leading global law firms in London and they are currently recruiting for a Knowledge Manager. This role is to join their debt capital markets practice which offers expert advice on a full range of debt capital markets and structured finance transactions and derivatives. We are particularly keen to see the CVs of experience capital markets paralegals looking for something slightly different. Knowledge plays a vital role at the firm; the team has two highly experienced Knowledge Lawyers with whom the successful candidate will work on a day-to-day basis.
The role will include:
*Preparing monthly legal updates on issues affecting the sector.
*Acting as the primary researcher for pulling together information on areas of interest for the global practice.
*Continuing engagement with Knowledge lawyers in the various outward facing initiatives of the firm
*Maintaining and upgrading the intranet.
*Working on the infrastructure for the knowledge management activities and providing the technical support needed for integrating the thought leadership products with the various software programmes.
Requirements:
*Degree in English (or other EU or common-law jurisdiction) law or a Graduate Diploma in Law.
*LPC (or equivalent) qualified. (BPTC qualification also considered).
*Good working knowledge of core legal online research sources (including case law resources)
*Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
*Strong communication skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to condense and summarise complex information accurately.
*Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects.
*Ability to respond promptly to requests for assistance or information.
*Ability to work as part of a team.
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.
