IP Lawyer, 6 Year's Plus PQE

Global business where technology and IP is at the heart of what they do is seeking to appoint a Head of Intellectual Property for Europe.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IP lawyer currently working in-house or in private practice to have a truly international role where you will be responsible for the strategy, protection and development of IP.  

Reporting into the Global IP Counsel and European General Counsel you will be responsible for all aspects of IP which is typically non contentious in nature and relates to the development and exploitation of technology.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Advising the business on research and development, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyright law
• Working closely with engineers and product development teams leading on IP issues throughout product development processes, including working with engineers in producing patent applications (with assistance from Patent Attorneys)
• Monitor competitor patents and applications with regard to potential infringement
• Review and clear IP related content for publication

We are keen to hear from experienced IP lawyers who are looking for a new challenge where you will get exposed to exiting IP projects and strategy on a global basis.  You will currently be working in-house or in private practice with experience in hard non-contentious IP ideally gained in engineering, technology, scientific or pharma sectors.
