Head of Legal - Retail & Private Bank

My client is a very well established retail, corporate and private bank, based in central London, looking for a Head of Legal.

The role is extremely broad in content, although the main focus of the role is to lead their legal function; the ideal candidate will also have some exposure to corporate governance, including board reporting and some company secretary duties, although this is not essential. 

The role will have the support of a small team of lawyers and work closely with their in-house compliance function. 

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of loan agreements and mortgages and be able to demonstrate people management/leadership skills. 

This is a permanent appointment with an early six-figure starting salary, plus bonus and benefits.
