This is a standout opportunity to for an Employment Partner to join a high calibre City of London practice. You will be part of an award winning practice, which houses Chambers ranked Lawyers and is Legal 500 listed across most of their practice areas. You will have exposure to a brilliant client pool as well as working on the most diverse work!

This top 100 firm houses Legal 500 leading individuals mentioned and ranked on the Legal 500 chambers. With multiple Tier 1 departments in many areas of the law, this firm has become the leading in the regions as well as in the City of London. This firm undertakes a large amount of domestic as well as international cross-boarder matters. They are often acting on large Commercial, Corporate matters working Technology, Media, Sports, Financial and FTSE 250 companies.

The Role

The firm are seeking to hire an Employment into their modern and newly refurbished City of London office.

The department is ranked highly in the legal 500 and the team is one of the largest nationally. The team is dynamic and punches well above their weight. You work with the other partners to drive the department forwards. They support their clients out of their national and international offices.

The firm's highly rated employment team handles a wide range of excellent quality contentious and non-contentious work including advisory work on HR issues, disputes related work in the tribunal and courts, drafting employment documentation, employee relations and transaction/outsourcing work. The team's workload is increasingly top end, complex, premium work and accordingly we are working to strengthen our capacity at that level.

There are excellent prospects here for progression with the continued growth of this department and the firm.

This role comes with good prospects and career development.

Requirements

  • You will be an Employment Lawyer with at least 7 years PQE (there are no upper limits regarding the amount of PQE and applications are invited from the most experienced candidates)
  • You will have good commercial awareness and strong drafting skills
  • Experience of managing more junior colleagues is to advantage, but not essential
  • A meticulous eye for detail is essential
  • Salary is competitive and dependent on your background and level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
