Senior Planning Associate - Cambridge

New! - our client are a leading Legal 100 firm with an impressive reputation for all planning related matters. Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Planning Solicitor to join the team based in Cambridge. This is a Chambers-rated firm and the role will involve advising on both rural and urban schemes whilst acting for; Landowners; House Builders; Banks.  Any previous experience in the following area would be particularly helpful:

* Negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements;

* Preparing planning applications;

* Due diligence for Brownfield acquisitions

* Statutory Appeals

* Public enquiries

* Statutory Challenges

* Judicial review 

*Waste and environmental offences

The ideal individual will have gained solid planning experience from a respected regional or city firm recognised for its planning and infrastructure team. You should have gained some business development experience and be confident in handling client enquiries from day one. We would like to speak with individuals who live or work near Cambridge and are looking to develop their practice long-term in the area. A strong academic profile is essential and excellent communication skills are required for the role.
