We are helping a famous manufacturing and retail PLC recruit a new French qualified lawyer to join the top-quality legal team. It is preferred to base the role in Central London HQ, although it would also be possible to be based in France (Lille).

You will support the group's French businesses on major contracting activities and strategic supply chain and sourcing (the initial emphasis on "conventions uniques/annuelles") structural matters and corporate governance. We are looking for solid "conventions uniques" drafting and negotiating experience but the role will be broader than that. You MUST be a French qualified lawyer and we welcome applications from lawyers with c. 3 years' experience to much more senior candidates, as long as they have the requisite technical experience. The team can accommodate a range of seniority and the London based package is very competitive. Frequent (ie. weekly) Eurostar trips to France can be expected.

The initial term of the contract is for one year, and it may well become permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for candidates who can start ASAP.
