The Firm

Their Lawyers have an unrivaled reputation in their respected fields and often travel nationally to speak on their respective fields, it is common for cases and matters they have worked on to appear in the national press. They are a progressive firm that nurtures talent and invests heavily in their staff; this is demonstrated by the fact that many of their Partners are home-grown. They have a flat structure, and it is common for NQ's to work side on side with Partners, gaining much more in the way of experience than at other firms. The firm now stands at 100 Lawyers firm-wide, with a smaller, but growing team in London of 25.

The firm is seeking to hire an NQ - 2 PQE Employment Solicitor to join their prestigious office in the heart of the West End of London.

The Role

The Employment Department currently consists of one Partner in London, with plans for them to grow, making now an exciting time to join. You will deal with a mix of claimant and respondent work, both contentious, non-contentious as well as interesting corporate support.

Their client base is broad and includes FTSE 250 companies, OMB and ultra HNW individuals as well as company directors. There is a focus on media and other dynamic sectors. This will be a hands-on role where you will get excellent exposure. The caseload will include; Suspension and disciplinary issues, grievances, discrimination, severance packages, restructurings, TUPE and breaches of fiduciary duties, constructive dismissal and restrictive covenant issues.

This role comes with excellent prospects for progression.

Requirements

  • You will be an Employment Solicitor with between NQ - 2 years PQE
  • You will work for a well-known Employment department dealing with a good quality of work
  • You should have good experience in both contentious and non-contentious work
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • You should have a passion for Employment law
