Employment Solicitor needed for industry leading Pensions and Employment team based in Guildford.


Are you an Employment Solicitor looking to get experience in this Legal 500 and Chambers ranked practice? This firm is not only one of the UK's top practices, but also recognised as a leader globally across many practice areas and sectors. Despite being a larger practice, they have maintained an intimacy which allows them to progress Solicitors from the ground right up to Partnership. There is also an opportunity for the Solicitor to get experience in Pensions and Immigration.

The Role


The firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor, 2 - 3 years PQE, to work in the Guildford office, Surrey.


The firms Department is highly ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers as a leading team. They have multiple Lawyers regarded as leaders in their field and handle quality of work which is traditionally only seen in London. The employment team encompasses a range of practice areas including Pensions and Immigration. The cross-referral network means that their Lawyers all have a broad range of experience and handle an interesting caseload. Although the ideal candidate will have experience handling Pensions and Immigration, the firm will offer training to support the Lawyers professional development.


The incoming Lawyer will be expected to handle a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters, including but not limited to; employment tribunals, whistleblowing, TUPE, and discrimination. The incoming Lawyer should also have some experience or an interested, In Pensions and Immigration (in relation to employment advice).


The Requirement

  • You will be an Employment Solicitor with at least two years PQE.
  • You will ideally come from a highly regarded Regional Firm or a firm in the City or West End. It is a good option for someone who wants to handle quality work but finds the commute into London difficult.
  • You will have a strong Billings History.
  • In relation to the firm's culture, you will be positive, approachable, and ambitious.
  • Salary is well above the market rate.
