We have been instructed by an acclaimed global firm in Hong Kong looking for Corporate M&A Associates to join their team.
The firm is well-established as a leading name in Hong Kong and is recognised globally as being one of the top international firms. Their corporate team works on a range of high-quality and sophisticated cross-border transactions, particularly private mergers and acquisitions, and as such candidates should have strong M&A experience to apply.
The partners are ideally looking for candidates with at least four years of relevant post-qualification experience from a leading US, Magic Circle or other top-tier international firm. Candidates with Mandarin language skills and/or Hong Kong qualifications are desired, but this is not a pre-requisite to apply, and the partners welcome applications from other common law qualified candidates with no language skills.
Due to the current structure of the corporate team, and their plans for growth, there are strong progression opportunities for candidates joining at the mid or senior levels, including Counsel and Junior Partner roles for ambitious and business-minded senior candidates, ideally with a following or good contacts in the market.
The firm offers an excellent salary, paying among the highest in Hong Kong, in addition to desirable relocation packages, and sponsorship will also be offered by the firm as required.
