About the Company 

This leading international retailer has an opportunity for a technology lawyer to join its highly regarded legal team in a key role for the business. At a key time in the retail market, this company is forging through the storm by investing heavily in its tech and multichannel offering and as a result, dedicated legal support is now required.

About the Opportunity

You will have key responsibility for large IT negotiations with global software vendors and service providers as well as managing and negotiating digital projects and transformation. You will have full responsibility for working on strategic multichannel initiatives and specific e-commerce systems and projects. You will also manage the technology contracts for the global supply chain system. In addition, you will play a key role in advising the wider business on wider day to day commercial matters.

About You

A strong IT background is essential, with an interest in tech in the consumer space also being key. Previous in-house experience would be useful although the role will also suit an individual coming directly from private practice at a senior level. You must be able to work well with the wider business, including senior management, answering queries on the spot and updating senior management.
