In-House - Paralegal - Legal Entity Project - Multinational Investment Bank - 6month FTC

My client, a multinational investment bank, are looking to hire a paralegal to support the legal entity project on an initial 6 month basis. 

The role will include:

• Supporting the General Counsel division in respect of custody, cash correspondent and collateral management contractual documentation.
• Management, organisation and maintenance of various contractual indexing, management and recording systems, including administrative activities (and data entry) connected to contractual management processes and systems
• Arranging executions, notarisations and apostillisations and coordinating return of various documents and agreements, including reviewing execution authorisations and conducting related due diligence.
• Arranging meetings and coordinating agendas and papers for approval meetings, legal execution meetings and board meetings. Drafting minutes for meetings.
• Creating, drafting and revising guidelines and processes for the department
• Archiving, filing in accordance with document retention policies and other guidelines and other administrative processes as and when required

A strong candidate will have

• Undergraduate degree in law or any other discipline at 2:1 level or above 
• Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) at Commendation level or above
• An ability to read, analyse and understand legal documentation and legislation.
• Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or in-house organisation supporting a team of lawyers.
