We have been a Sunday Times ‘100 Best Small Companies to Work For’ employer for each of the last 5 years and have been crowned as the ‘Most Innovative Company in the East Midlands’ by the Government’s ‘Business is Great’ campaign, winning both the ‘Product of the Year’ and ‘Global Ambitions’ awards at the 2017 Lincolnshire Digital & Tech Awards.

Our team consists of very experienced and highly capable aviators and outstanding software and systems engineers working together in a friendly and unique specialist Defence company with a mature ‘can do’ work ethic. Our central business functions are located in an easily accessible, bright, modern Head Office to the West of Lincoln alongside our Mission Systems team while the majority of operational specialists within our managed services divisions are embedded alongside our military customers.

Benefits.

  • 30 days (minimum) paid holiday plus 8 days Bank Holidays per year
  • Company provided private medical and dental insurance
  • Annual Profit and Performance Related Pay scheme
  • Death in service (minimum 100k)
  • Company contributions into a Group Personal Pension Scheme
  • Business travel insurance
  • Funded role specific training and financial assistance with Professional Development
  • Tax efficient Cycle to Work and Charitable Giving schemes

The Role.

As a result of Inzpire’s continued success and business expansion in both the UK and overseas markets, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an In-House Commercial Lawyer.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake a range of legal and commercial tasks, in direct support to the Company’s Head of Legal & Commercial Division and working closely with other members of the team.

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant will be required to complete National Security Vetting which will require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.

The Person.

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE, and have a background in commercial law. Experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (preferably with some in-house experience, but not essential) and an ability to apply legal knowledge in a commercial context.  Your knowledge, attention to detail and ability to work as part of a small highly skilled team must be exemplary because the role will necessarily be broad and varied.  You should be prepared to assume a comprehensive range of responsibilities, be capable of working independently with reducing supervision and be confident enough to research and then recommend pragmatic, business-focused solutions. Having a ‘can do’ attitude you will be required to take a flexible, constructive and timely approach to representing the Company on legal and contractual matters.

Equal Opportunities.

We genuinely recognise the benefits of a diverse and inclusive working environment.  We are proud to be a supportive signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and a 2019 Gold Award Winner within the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.  We are therefore delighted to offer a Guaranteed Interview Scheme to Service Leavers, Reservists and Military Spouses or Partners (including those of Service Leavers) who meet all our advertised requirements.

How To Apply/Find Out More.

To find out more or apply for this role, please send a Covering Letter and your CV, quoting reference 19-26, to careers@inzpire.com (via the Apply Section below).
