Debt Finance/Restructuring Lawyer - London -Fix Term Contract -8pqe
Our client is an independent provider of debt administrative services. The company are involved in complex loan restructuring transactions offering services for the debt market.
They are looking to expand their growing and dynamic transaction management legal team with a strong debt finance/restructuring focused finance lawyer. Candidates will preferably have some knowledge of LMA/LSTA leveraged and investment grade documents and a solid understanding of corporate debt restructuring, enforcement, debt capital markets, structured finance and securitisation. At least 8 years'experience will have been gained in private practice or with in-house finance/ banking teams or within a transaction management group within a financial institution or financial services company.
The role reports to the Deputy General Counsel, and will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating the legal aspects of transaction documentation, co-ordinating transactions through to execution for new business, and advising on a portfolio of existing deals, ensuring all legal and commercial terms and conditions are in place in line with business policies.
The successful candidate will advise and support a fast-growing global business in a varied range of multi-jurisdictional work and broad exposure to all members of the business, including key stakeholders and key clients.
