Fintech/Alternative Finance - London - 2 to 6 PQE

Our client is a very highly regarded City of London firm with a strong reputation for advising a client list including well-known fashion brands from the technology, fintech and fashion industries.

They are now looking for an additional mid-senior level associate to join their market leading FinTech and Alternative Finance team.

The Legal500 and Chambers recognised team works at the cutting edge of disruptive finance and technology and are looking for specialist in banking and finance, structured finance or DCM who has an understanding and interest in fintech and alternative financing methods.

In order to be considered for this role, you will:

• Have strong knowledge and understanding of syndicated facility agreements and security documentation
• Be comfortable:
  • Drafting standard term corporate and consumer lending and security documentation for P2P and direct-lending platforms
  • Structuring P2P and direct-lending platforms from a regulatory and commercial perspective
  • Structuring and drafting debt issuances and wholesale funding lines for P2P and direct-lending platforms
  • Drafting regulated commercial agreements, such as platform terms and conditions and FinTech financial products
• Have an appetite for gaining knowledge on technology issues (including data privacy and tech-related agreements) and financial services regulation
