We are currently working closely with a leading international law firm, in Singapore, to source a talented M&A associate - 1-5 PQE on the Singapore scale or NQ-3 PQE on the U.K. scale.
This is a market-leading practice and one of the largest M&A teams in Singapore, where you'll work on high quality transactions, supporting multiple difference partners on a range of cutting-edge deals. The successful candidate will get exposure to range of different matters and work in a pool system with several well-respected partners, as well as interacting and taking responsibility for managing clients.
You'll advise on the full spectrum of corporate work, for example M&A, PE, JV, takeovers, fund raisings, and corporate governance matters. The firm has an impressive client list, utilising its excellent global reputation and strong roots in the Asian legal market, and you'll be acting for global financial institutions, multinational companies, private equity funds, governments, pension funds etc.
Candidates will be Singapore qualified, or hold a qualification from England & Wales, Australia or New Zealand. You'll have trained at one of the Singapore 'Big 4', or a leading international law firm, and have a stellar academic record as well as exposure to a range of corporate matters.
Language skills are a bonus but not a prerequisite to applying - as well as an international experience or ties to the local region.
