Job Details

We have worked closely with our client, the London office of this international financial services business, for a number of years now. The business works within the debt capital markets and offers a range of services to a diverse client base and have enjoyed great success and expansion over the last period.

The legal team are seen as an integral part of the business and work closely with stakeholders to drive transactions. We are now looking to recruit a successful legal counsel to join the team, initially on a 12 month maternity leave cover, with a possibility of a longer term appointment. The likely start date is January next year.

It is likely that you will have at least 6 years solid expertise, ideally gained in-house (either via secondment or a permanent role) with top City law firm training. You're experience will include excellent knowledge of LMA documentation, leveraged and investment grade transactions, broader debt capital markets matters and restructuring. Of equal importance you will be a team player, able to work in a fast paced office and have strong negotiation skills.

This is a great opportunity to join a well regarded and growing business and to work within a collegiate legal team. The role offers excellent quality work and the chance to gain experience of complex transactions.
