Job Details
Our client's leading banking and finance team, which includes its highly regarded real estate finance practice, has enjoyed significant growth in the last few years and is now looking for an additional banking lawyer, preferably at Senior Associate level, to focus primarily on real estate finance. The team acts on a wide range of real estate finance deals, from core investment and development financings to complex, multi-banked deals which include both senior and mezzanine debt and intercreditor arrangements. The team has a growing international profile and is increasingly instructed by internationally significant clients on complex cross-border real estate financings.
The ideal person for this position will have at least 4 years' PQE within a specialist real estate finance team, with experience of leading transactions which involve both bilateral and multi-banked syndicated facilities. In addition to technical aptitude, you will have experience of supervising junior lawyers, a desire to get closer to clients and to build client relationships, and an appetite for business development.
You will have the opportunity to play a lead role on major domestic and international / cross border real estate finance transactions, as well as some exposure to other areas of banking and finance if desired, working within a very commercial, flexible and dynamic, team focused environment.
