Commercial Property Partner Designate

Succession planning demands the appointment of a senior commercial property solicitor at this thriving practice. As there is an existing caseload to take over a following is not required but the successful candidate will demonstrate a natural flair for business development.  

The property department acts for a diverse range of clients from many industry sectors including some in the pub industry.

The role is very much client facing and you will be able to demonstrate sharp commercial acumen by your ability to understand a client’s business and deliver commercially focused advice, assuming the role of trusted advisor.

The successful candidate will be confident in handling a varied caseload including:

• Preparing/reviewing leases, sub-leases, assignments, RDDs, licence for alterations;
• Negotiating commercial property leases through to completion;
• Handling commercial property freehold and leasehold purchases and sales;
• Advising on and drafting property documents for private acquisitions and sales and asset purchases and sales;
